Our values

To make it a great festival for everyone, we have listed a dozen village values. Weave them into your doings, and it will be the best weekend of the year anyway.

Feel at home and be who you want to be. We don’t look at each other for colour, sexual orientation, gender or religion. Together, we make it a wild weekend.

Sexual harassment is definitely a no-go. Yes means yes, no means no, maybe means no and silence means no. Feeling unsafe? Speak to one of our atmosphere managers or first aid staff. Not in a hurry, but want to make a report? It is also possible to fill in the contact form.

Wilde Weide loves bamboo and nature. Don’t break off branches to use as party enhancers. Countless creative people work with immense time and love on all the art and details of Wilde Weide, please keep their work intact.

Beech butts are the number one pollutant and extremely difficult to clean up, which is why we hand out ashtrays at the entrance and there are many ashtrays scattered around the site. Also keep your own camping spot clean and hand in your filled rubbish bag at the rubbish point when you leave, your weekend pass will be scanned and you will be refunded €10 deposit after the festival. Reuse your tent at the next festival. Are you really out of your tent or not taking it with you? There are containers at the trash point for collecting tents and other camping equipment.

At 02:00 at night, live acts and DJs are over and there are good chill sessions by campfires then. Don’t build parties with loud music on the campsite at night, as this is the place to rest.

Some acts on the programme play fragile and hushed music. Keep in mind that the show and the experience of the person next to you can be quickly drowned out. So save your talking points until after the show so that everyone can be fully absorbed in the moment.

We look out for each other and help where necessary. If you suspect someone is overstepping their limits, check that they are OK. Swimming is only allowed between 08:00 and sunset; do so sober and with other people.

Use one of those beautiful Dixie to avoid nasty smells and toilet paper in the bamboo jungle. It is the only right place for all your private needs. After Wilde Meadow and Wildeburg, the site is once again a recreational area and campsite, so leave a clean spot for all the children and holidaymakers.

Take care of your ears and fix earplugs with a special music filter. That way you can still hear the music super well, you can still talk to the people around you ánd protect your hearing. We sell good Alpine Partyplugs at the manned box office. At the campsite shop we sell (sleep) earplugs and at the bars the old-fashioned foam plugs.

For a weekend, we are a mini society so beautiful because of the sense of community. Is someone behaving not quite yucky? It’s fine to address each other on a positive note. Together, we carry the Wild Meadow feeling and make it a matchless first edition!

About Wilde Weide

4.5.6 July 2024 in recreational area Netl de Wildste Tuin in Kraggenburg, the Netherlands.
You can enter the camping grounds starting Thursday and stay until noon on Monday.

You can enter the campsite from Thursday 3 July at 14:00. Your tent can stay until 12:00 Monday morning. With a weekend ticket you can enter and leave the site, with a Sunday ticket this is not possible.

Entrance opening hours are:
Thursday: 14:00 – 22:00
Friday: 10:00 – 22:00
Saturday: 10:00 – 22:00
Sunday: 10:00 – 18:00
With a motorhome, it is only possible to enter on Thursday or Friday.

Expect a mix of emerging bands and niche acts from the Netherlands and abroad. What does that sound like? Think fresh indie and synthpop, experimental corners of the hip-hop scene, danceable blends of funk and roots reggae, compelling psychedelia, abrasive post-punk, melancholy neoclassical and left-field house and breakbeat. In short, food for the musical omnivore and those with an open mind.

Three of our stages are dedicated to live acts, in addition there are two DJ stages. We capture the feel of an intimate club show, but at a festival; the stages have the modest size of between 500 and 2,000 people. The focus is on daytime and early night; programming runs from 12:00 to 02:00.

We believe in the power of co-creation. Therefore, the music program is co-curated by a diverse group of people who are closest to the fire: the musicians themselves. Curators Donald Madjid (The Mauskovic Dance Band, Don Melody Club), Sophie Straat, Suze Ijó and Willem Smit (Personal Trainer) program part of the lineup.

At Wilde Weide, the emphasis is on live acts: there will be three live stages and two DJ stages. Discover new bands, go wild to tropical sounds or be moved at a lie-down concert. We will dance, listen and party from noon to the early hours of the night in a relaxed holiday setting.

Everyone is welcome at Wilde Weide, and minors can attend in the company of an adult. However, the festival is catered to adults and there are no activities specifically for minors. All visitors must have a ticket to the festival. To visit the festival independently, you must be 18 years of age or older.

Wilde Weide takes place on the most beautiful festival ground in the Netherlands. Netl de Wildste Tuinen will be transformed into a festival site. Five stages, plenty of waters and countless paths through wild nature. You can wander around for hours, take a look at the map here.

Super cool that you want to help out as a Strijder during Wilde Weide! We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to make our festival a great success. As a Strijder, you can perform a variety of tasks, from building up the grounds to guiding visitors and much more.

Would you like to be part of our team? Then sign up at crew.kultlab.nl. Here you will find all the information about the different roles and how to sign up. Rather do promo for Wilde Weide in your own city beforehand? Then email info@wildeweidefestival.nl.

Score karma-points on Wilde Weide! Bring found items to the camping shop.

To find out if your items have been found, email info@wildeweidefestival.nl. You can collect your items from Thursday until Monday 12:00 at the camping shop. After that, lost property goes to the municipality of Noordoostpolder. Find your belongings via Found Objects.

With your festival ticket you paid € 10,- deposit for a trash bag, which you will receive at the entrance. On Sunday or Monday, you hand in your full trash bag and we’ll scan your festivalticket, and you will get your deposit back. This way we keep Wildeburg clean together! You can hand in your trash bag at the exit.

Upon entering Wilde Weide, you will be given a cup token. In exchange for your token, you get the first cup for free at the bar. With each subsequent drink you hand in the cup and get a clean one. If you don’t want to carry around your cup the whole weekend, you exchange it at the bar for a token. If you lose your cup: a new cup costs half a coin and cannot be exchanged for money. This saves tens of thousands of plastic cups and keeps Wilde Weide nice and clean.

No, there are no lockers at Wilde Weide. Leave valuables at home and enjoy a carefree weekend.

We don’t sell cigarettes and vapes at Wildlive. At the entrance smokers can get pocket ashtrays, so you’ll always be able to properly dispose of the buds. Cigarette buds are very bad for the environment so please make good use of the pocket ashtrays. One bud on the floor is one too many. A week after Wilde Weide and Wildeburg regular visitors will enjoy the area, so keep the terrain nice and clean for them too.

We will sell rain ponchos at the camping store, but please bring your own raincoat. This is more better for the environment, and will reduce the amount of waste on the festival site.

Confetti is fun, but not necessary to build a party, The tiny snippets of paper – or even worse: plastic – are almost impossible to clean and get rid of. We want to keep the beautiful terrain in the middle of nature serene, so no confetti at Wilde Weide.

Yes, but please bring a doctor’s prescription.

The area has beautiful beaches and water. Swimming is completely at your own risk and only allowed inside the ball lines. Outside these lines, entering the water is prohibited. Swimming is only allowed between 08:00 and sunset.

Yes, it can get quite chilly at night and we have a long weekend ahead of us. You definitely want to be able to dress warmly if you need to.

As a visitor to Wilde Weide you automatically agree to our house rules and general visitor conditions. Always follow instructions on and around the event from employees and authorized persons, who guarantee the house rules. Wilde Weide may refuse access or remove you from the site if you fail to do so.

Wilde Weide has no minimum age, but visitors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Entering Wilde Weide is at your own risk. Wilde Weide is not responsible for damages such as personal injury, loss and or damage to property as a result of visiting Wilde Weide.

You may enter Wilde Weide on presentation of a valid admission ticket in combination with valid identification (driver’s license, passport or identity card). In exchange you will receive a wristband for the entire weekend. This wristband is personal and cannot be shared or transferred.

Upon entry to the event site, personal belongings including (hand) luggage and cars may be searched for prohibited items. Security also performs checks by superficial touching of clothing, bags and/or shoes. Refusal of any of the above checks may result in denial of access to the event site without refund.

Drugs are not permitted at Wild Meadow. If drugs are found, they will be confiscated and access will be denied. If dealing is suspected or detected, it will be handed over to the police.

The use of large gas cylinders or gas installations is not permitted. Only at the campsite is allowed the use of a puncture bottle of gas (equipped with safety valve or screw cartridges) with a maximum content of 190 grams.

Barbecuing is permitted only with a disposable barbecue. In extreme drought conditions, this is not permitted.

Heavy medication, food and liquids necessary due to allergy or illness may be brought inside with a doctor’s statement and/or permission from the organization.

You are responsible for your own belongings. Wilde Weide cannot be held responsible for theft, destruction and/or loss of belongings. Wilde Weide is also not responsible for lost or stolen tickets. We recommend that you do not bring valuables to Wilde Weide or leave them in the car.

Everyone is equal, and treat each other with respect. As soon as you cross a line – such as sexual harassment, or racist or discriminatory remarks – you will be removed from the grounds and possibly turned over to the police.

Without permission from Wilde Weide, it is not permitted to trade items, flyer or hand out samples on the event grounds, campsites and parking lots.

The number of camping spots is calculated for the number of visitors. So make sure the size of your tent matches the number of people sleeping in the tent. For example, you will not sleep alone in a large four-person tent.

Smoking is only allowed outdoors. Keep your surroundings clean and tidy, it feels good and looks much nicer. Please make sure your cigarette butts do not end up in nature but in your pocket ashtray.

Only on Thursday and Friday is it allowed to bring (non)alocholic drinks and food through the entrance. Once you leave Wilde Weide you are not allowed to bring liquor or food inside again. You may bring a maximum of 5 liters of liquor. Alcoholic beverages are only allowed up to 15%. Drink bottles must be sealed and glassware is prohibited.

As a Sunday visitor, you cannot bring food or drink.

There may be photography and filming at Wild Meadow by the organization, approved press, and partners. Upon entering the grounds you agree to this and it is possible that you may be photographed.

Without written permission from Wilde Weide, it is not permitted to bring professional audio and video equipment (including drones) and make recordings.

Swimming, or otherwise entering the water, is entirely at your own risk. Swimming is permitted only between 8:00 a.m. and sunset. Please do so sober and never alone. Wilde Weide cannot be held responsible for calamities.

Food and drink can be purchased with tokens. These are available at the box offices, where you can pay in cash or by debit card. Consumption tokens once purchased are valid for this edition only and cannot be exchanged.

When situations arise that are not described here, the organization of Wilde Weide will make a decision.

Drop your question via Instagram DM, Facebook Messenger or send us an email at info@wildeweidefestival.nl. Do you have other bold ideas, wishes and thoughts? Always welcome! You can drop those in our Big Beautiful Things form.

Tickets

Yes, there are weekend tickets and a small number of Sunday tickets on sale.

At Wilde Weide, we all dive amongst the bamboo for a long weekend and there is no separation between camping and festival grounds. Therefore, there are no single Friday or Saturday tickets for sale.

A ticket for Wilde Weide costs €225 + €10 service fee + €10 deposit for garbage bags.
A Sunday ticket costs €64 + €5 service fee.

After buying your ticket, you will receive a confirmation email from Paylogic. This does not yet include your ticket, because your ticket will be mailed to you in the week of the event.

Yes, the correct name of the visitor must be on the ticket. So make sure you enter the correct information, as this will be copied on your ticket. At the entrance this will be checked against your ID.

A wristband is meant for 1 person, and cannot be transferred to someone else.

Tickets will be sent out the week of the festival. You will find your purchase confirmation in your e-mail when you search on Paylogic or Wilde Weide. If it is not there, request it via I Lost My Ticket.

Parking tickets can be bought in advance until Wednesday, July 2, 10:0pm in the shop. After that, it is only possible to buy parking tickets on the spot.

You may enter the grounds from 10:00 am with a Sunday ticket and stick around until Monday morning. As a day visitor, it is not possible to bring food and drinks onto the site.

TicketSwap is the only way to transfer a ticket between people who don’t know each other. The sold card is replaced with a completely new ticket which ensures you have a valid ticket. The name is also changed in the process. Unfortunately, we regularly hear stories of people being scammed, so don’t be tempted to buy through any other means!

What steps do you follow if you want to sell your ticket:
1: Go to the confirmation email you received from Paylogic;
2: In the email, click on the button at the bottom: “Manage order”;
3: You now enter your My Order environment, click here on “More actions”;
4: Click on the option: “Sell on TicketSwap”;
5: You will now be redirected to TicketSwap, follow the steps on their website.

You can change the personal information on your ticket via Name Change for €10. This is possible via the confirmation mail you received from Paylogic. Click the button ‘Manage order’. You will then see an overview of your purchased tickets. Click on ‘More actions’ at the top right and then on ‘name change’.

Name Change is not a safe way to exchange money and tickets between strangers. Don’t be tempted to use this to buy or sell tickets through Marktplaats, for example. There is no deadline for changing the name on your ticket.

No, through all these sites you cannot buy valid tickets because tickets are not sent out until the week of the festival, so there is simply nothing to sell. In addition, tickets must be in the correct name and only through Ticketswap and Paylogic Name Change can this be changed.

You will receive an email with more details about this a week before the festival.

The original buyer keeps the perk. So if you have opted for priority sale, but you sell your ticket, you still keep your priority for next edition(s). Have you opted for a friends perks? Each group member gets their own festival card and can resell it if necessary. The perk is linked to the original main buyer. If the original head buyer sells his card, he can designate someone else in the group to redeem the perk. If the entire group sells its card, the advantage is forfeited. The perk you have chosen represents no value and cannot be resold or transferred to other people outside your group.

Accessibility

The first aid post can be found to the right of Wildlive, at campsite 1. The first aid post is marked on the map with the plus symbol.

Yes, you can do this at the first aid post. Furthermore, during Wilde Weide there are plenty of places to rest and sit.

If you fill in this form by March 31 at the latest, we will gladly look at the possibilities together. We will do our utmost to make your stay at Wildeburg as pleasant as possible, but cannot guarantee anything for the time being. We will keep in touch about this and you will receive all information at the latest two weeks before the festival.

Wilde Weide is an adventurous nature reserve so not everyone can get to a stage in the same way. Some stages can only be reached by wheelchair with special off-road tyres, and a single spot, unfortunately, cannot be reached at all. Fortunately, there are plenty of places you can get to. If you fill in this form, we can show you the way. No later than two weeks before the festival, you will receive a personal map with all the information.

Yes, there is! However, this one is a bit hidden. If you fill in this form, we can point you to the right place no later than two weeks before the festival.

We are currently working on creating an accessible car park. Please fill in this form and we will provide you with information no later than two weeks before the festival.

Yes! These can be found at campsite 1 and there is an accessible toilet near the first aid post. We are still trying to expand the places. If you fill in this form, we will send you a personal map of where these facilities can be found on the site.

There are pitches with paving near accessible toilets and showers. If you would like to use these spots or are curious about other options, please fill in this form by March 31. Depending on the number of requests, we can reserve a spot here. We will get back to you with more information no later than two weeks before the festival.

Heavy medication, food and liquids necessary due to allergy or illness may be brought in in combination with a doctor’s certificate. Please note that requesting a doctor’s certificate takes three weeks on average.
